Adult Small Groups

There are some continuing groups to join: Journey Band, Amelia Thrift Store Servants, Journey Meals Packers and more. Many are mission-minded.

For adult spiritual development we currently hold a covenant prayer breakfast on Thursday mornings and a small group study on Tuesday mornings.

In the first quarter of 2017 we enjoyed a Transformative Group, using Rohr's The Divine Dance.

There are also some revolving groups you can join for a short time. For example recently we have had: Paul, a Bible study, Jeremiah, a women's Bible study, Seamless and many more. There have been crafts classes and computer classes as well.

Recently ending were  a Group Book Study, studying William Paul Young's recent book "Eve" and the Lunch Bunchstudying Five Practices of Fruitful Living for their first study.

We finished a glass mosaics class in September 2016.

Another  recent offering was: A Bead and a Prayer

.Do you have a great prayer life?

Or do you struggle at times to focus,

yet want to pray more effectively?

Protestant Prayer Beads may be a tool that can help you to grow in your prayer life. DuringAdvent and Epiphany we offer a 5 week group study to introduce the art of praying using prayerbeads. During week one, we will hold a workshop to make our own prayer beads. During each of the following weeks we will address one key question about prayer beads, while practicing prayer with the beads. Homework will take about 20 minutes per week and group sessions will last one hour each. It’s a perfect way to include Christ in Christmas during the rush of the season.

 The cost is zero.
