Amelia Thrift Store: Community Outreach

Open over eight years, the Amelia Thrift Store, has given well over $180,000 now to help meet needs in our community. The 2016 was our best year yet!
The store sells only donated items, pays no salaries and gives all net proceeds to help meet the needs of our community. “The vision remains the same as it has been from the beginning”, says Pastor Mike, “and thanks be to God, we continue to be blessed to make a difference.”
The store’s success is dependent upon the generous donations, continuous shopping, and volunteers from the community.
Individual and groups can volunteer whole or half days by calling Pastor Mike Davis 804-304-0256 or our store managers. Young people ages 16-18 can work with parental permission to receive community service hours and younger children can work with a responsible adult.

   Current Store Managers are:

Betty Morris 804-514-8182 and Linda Picardi 804-305-9666.
