Sunday at 10 am. Come early to get a cup of coffee and more! Feel free to drink and munch during worship. We are casual people.
Learn more about our current worship series here.
There are no requirements except that you must wear clothes! Some people dress like traditional church because they feel like it. Others dress more casual. Others plan an afternoon adventure and come dressed for it. No one will raise an eyebrow.
We prefer that worship is authentic and relevant. Journey band plays contemporary Christian music with an occasional secular song if it fits the theme of the message. It is upbeat but not hard rock. Sometimes the little ones are dancing in the aisles and we think that is perfect.
Worship is casual, relaxed and inviting. It's a celebration and sometimes happiness just breaks out. Here is a spontaneous example captured just as our youth and children finished impromtu happy dance just before worship. (You might note, too, that there is no dress code)
This is a family friendly community. Parents can bring the whole family into worship. Infants are welcomed in worship. After some great music, there is a Children's message. Then children (toddlers through grade 5) can go to Children's Church for a lesson all their own (We use Deep Blue curriculum) while adults and youth hear our Pastor's special message. Children are invited back into worship for holy communion and the closing song.
*Youth in grades 6 through 12 can go to Youth Fellowship (dvd study and discussion) following our Morning Prayer at 9:00 am.
